From May 20th through May 22, 2019, WFD RSA director visited some organizations and agencies in Korea, to discuss the issues to support more legal recognition of sign languages in Asian countries, together with the Nippon Foundation.

May 20th p.m.: We visited the new office of Korea Association of the Deaf (KAD) and shared the updates of the organization.

Afternoon, May 21st: We visited Korea Disabled People’s Development Institute (KODDI) and requested their support to develop sign languages in Asian countries.

May 21st p.m.: We visited the President and Vice President of DPI Korea at their office, and shared updates on International Disability Alliance (IDA) and disabled people in Asia.
